Description: Lemberger (Blaufränkisch) is an excellent cool climate varietal that thrives in our region. Originally planted by the founders of Wertsch Vineyard, this wine is unoaked and both peppery and fruity. 

Tasting Notes: 

Nose: Blackberry, dark cherry, pepper

Mouth: Dark red/black fruit, pronounced peppery notes, soft tannins

Total Acid: 6.2 g/L

pH: 3.7

Residual Sugar: 2.5 g/L

Pairs With: Grilled bratwurst or braised lamb with spaetzle.
