2022 Cabernet "Leon" Reserve

Description: Cabernet Franc is King in Niagara and as a tribute to Greg Wertsch's son Leon, he took his finest Cabernet Franc vines and turned their fruit into this stellar Niagara Red.  

Fermented in open top vats, pressed and then aged in 1000L French Oak barrels for one year, Cabernet Leon comes of age in 2027.

Tasting Notes: Nose: dark berry medley, Fresh Oak

Mouth: Black Pepper, Firm Tannin, full bodied

Pairs With: Crown roast, beef tenderloin, blue haze cheese
